DTIS’ scanning and conversion bureau was established at the request of clients not happy with the 'pile it high - scan it fast' attitude to scanning that was common in the industry.

The bureau can scan documents from postage stamp size to A0 and even larger, from mono to colour, from paper to microfiche. Forms recognition is a strong feature, as well as conversion to PDF and other formats.

The bureau uses Kofax Capture software with VRS (Virtual ReScan), allowing it to process greater volumes while maintaining both reliability and accuracy. Ascent also provides increased flexibility, making it easy to integrate the data with the many document management applications and formats that are now available.
